Old Faithful at sunrise by Joy.
The January photos are amazing. Sue, the Blacktail sunrise a prize one and Karen, your Bull Elk as well. Do not remember Barronette, Joy, but you surely will. Karen as you now know, visiting Dan’s studio is a treat. The first winter trip I wanted to return in the summer so badly that I purchased a small photograph of Indian Paintbrush, because it grows here in NC as well.
When I finally was able to return last summer, I brought my husband a photograph of an American Eagle that Dan captured when it was “fishing”, one cold morning at Yankee Jim Canyon in the open part on the Yellowstone River in 2012.
Karen’s bear claws on the tree are the most pronounced I have ever seen out there. Yep, those Bison, Sue, will be with you as travelers, across the park. They’re just waiting for spring!
Did see Old Faithful erupt a number of times but the sun you had on your trip was a gift!
Today, January 20th will also be a gift in every way! Enjoy to the fullest! Ginny Byrne,Raleigh
Great to see you guys having a great time on this year’s trek! What a fantastic opportunity. Enjoy every moment.
